I came across this guy in a backstreet of Santiago de Cuba, on my way to salsa class with the undisputed ‘world champion’ in his front room. Not this chap, of course. You can tell he’s not a salsa champion. Everyone in Cuba is the world champion at something though – this athlete’s major strength being total indifference. My tip for Santiago de Cuba? Gop there before the communism runs out. Fabulous place for beer, salsa and music in 7.3/5 time.
